Major Duties Responsibilities
Develop and implement student recruitment marketing activities directed at the Chinese speaking community. Follow up with all leads
Develop and maintain relevant social media platforms e.g. WeChat, LinkedIn, Facebook ,Weibo
Liaise with the SIPAC Media Centre, Suzhou TV, press and other Chinese language media organizations to promote SSIS and student events and achievements.
Support and assist with the promotion of parent events to the Chinese speaking community including Secondary School Showcases, Parent Camp
Support and assist with translation for Chinese speaking parent meetings and events
Develop and maintain relevant marketing materials for SSIS community programmes
Respond to inquiries for the community programme including taking tours where appropriate
Coordinate media and advertising for SSIS community programmes
Attend key government, media and other external local community events and activities to represent and/or support other SSIS staff.
Coordinate visitors to and tours of the SSIS campus (excluding those relating to student admissions, academic and Business Development activities).
Generate and manage prospective school visits through external marketing, networks and branding
Record all concerns, feedback and complaints raised by Chinese speaking parents and bring to the attention
Liaise with local community organizations for joint activities with students and SSIS.
Support the Director of Marketing Admissions in the development of the SSIS Strategic Marketing Plan
Generate intelligence about competitors and recommend plans to counter these
Plan and review marking performance on a regular basis. Ability to eva luate and write a report on plan, performance and activities.

Position Requirements
This role is a key collaborator with the Marketing Director, who is a motivated self-starter, with a level of maturity to be driving tactical campaigns independently.
This role requires an experienced consumer marketing professional with a developed knowledge of the full marketing mix and multi-channel deployment.
Special attention must be given to the digital landscape and ability to deploy campaigns across all trending channels.
Experience in designing and developing campaigns, optimising returns as well as leading and managing agency resources to generate outstanding work that achieves results.
Impeccable time management skills, attention to detail, ability to self-manage and enthuse others.
He/She will be a patient and thoughtful mentor to junior staff with a collaborate style, inspiring best practice
Qualifications and Skills
Degree level qualification in marketing, communications or related field.
5+ years of working experience in marketing either within agencies or client side.
Sound knowledge of working with segmented customer base to implement customer focused strategies.
Analytical skills, able to interpret multiple data sets to identify trends.
Commercially astute with a very good understanding of financial metrics, able to set budgets, assess PL performance, eva luate ROI.
A sound knowledge of the full marketing mix including strategy development and planning, campaign development, measurement and tracking, optimization.
A comprehensive, well developed and up to date knowledge of online / digital marketing including website management and online advertising.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write high quality marketing copy in both English and Chinese
Good ICT skills (e.g. Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint),
Experience of using Content Management Systems and of social media, including SEO SEM experience
