Provides input and direction to the program team(s) in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment. Directs overall performance on the program(s), assuring that the “Triple Constraint” of Cost/Scope/Schedule is met and resources necessary to achieve this constraint are appropriately identified and communicated. Manage organization and leadership of team(s) in a matrix environment. Monitors overall performance during all phases of the program(s) and develops and implements corrective action and recovery plans as required. Manage the customer relationship, maintaining customer satisfaction, yet assuring that scope is managed appropriately and contract changes are secured where appropriate. Leads team(s) in identifying, quantifying and mitigating risk. Responsible for overall life-of-the program(s) successful financial performance. Maintain and report key metrics for senior management including development program milestone OTD and PROLaunch status. Responsible for the overall execution of complex component and/or system programs in accordance with the Eaton Aerospace PROLaunch process. Works with the Group sales marketing team to propose and capture new business opportunities for the product family. Assumes market segment ownership with respect to profitability and growth. Ensures new opportunities presented to the business by the group sales and marketing team are eva luated for business opportunity and risk. Supports/leads the proposal team during new bid opportunities.
