仪表技术工程师岗位职责

电仪/仪表工程师/技术员(维修) Summary

This position is responsible for instrumentation, electrical power and process control equipment in the plant, based upon a strong background in in instrumentation and electrical systems. The position requires good organizational and troubleshooting skills to maintain high effectiveness of the plant operating equipment.

This position reports to Support Services Manager.

? Troubleshoot problems with process measurements and electrical systems. Work with IE technicians and the maintenance department to coordinate repair of these systems.

? Oversee projects to install new instrumentation, motor controls and control equipment. This includes specification and purchasing, construction and start-up.

? Program motor protection relays and variable frequency drives (VFD). Troubleshoot Profibus communication between the DCS and motor control equipment.

? Maintain PLC based control systems in the plant. Modify PLC controls when needed.

? Monitor the power distribution system, including high voltage switchgear, emergency generator and UPS. Schedule regular testing and maintenance.

? Manage the calibration program for critical instrumentation.

? College and above degree in electrical engineering strongly preferred. A degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is also acceptable.

? 3 years’ experience in manufacturing in the area of electrical systems or instrumentation and controls, preferably both. Chemicals industry experience preferred.

? Good management and coordination skills.

? Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.

? Electrical certification for voltage electrical work preferred

? Previous experience using SAP for maintenance management and purchasing preferred. Summary
