总的来说，我经历的英文面试由易到难可以分为以下三类：

1. 送分模式（占比20%）

面试官都不说英文，直接来一句：请用英文介绍下巴拉巴拉。。。小编在面试某高铁公司技术岗位时，就被用中文问道:请用英文介绍一下你自己。 我回答完后，面试官用中文补了一个问题：请再用英文介绍一下你的专业。

这一类面试一般都是一到两个问题，时间不超过三分钟，而且问的问题都是那些套路（自我介绍，专业介绍，学校介绍，优点缺点介绍等等），只要背好后面小编为各位准备的题库，绝对是稳操胜券。

划重点：回答的时候语速要慢，要让面试官听得清你说的是什么。同时回答时要全程与面试官进行眼神交流，这可以有效降低背答案的“嫌疑”。

2. 正常模式（占比60%）

面试官会在中文面试中抽出五分钟与你做一个英文交流，测试下你的英文水平。小编在面试某汽车公司生产管理岗的时候，就被问到：Please describe your internship experience（请描述一下你的实习经历）回答完毕后，面试官补充问道：Are you satisfied with your college life? (感觉自己大学过得如何)

这一类面试虽然是英文对话的形式展开的，但问的问题一般都与送分模式中的题目一致，背好题库，依旧可以应对。

划重点：回答前一定要听清面试官的问题，不要没听清就把自己背下来的英文句子一股脑的往外抛。如果没完全听懂，但get了部分词汇，比如university等，可以猜测大概是要你介绍学校信息，这时可以先试探的问一下，Which aspect do you hope to know about my university?（请问您想要了解我学校哪方面的信息)，如果面试官作答了，说明自己猜对了，就开始介绍自己的学校信息，如果面试官说不是问这个，他就会复述一遍自己的问题，再给你一次听清问题的机会。如果你第二遍还是没有听清，不妨直接老老实实的说：I’m sorry, I’m a little nervous at the interview. Can you speak more slowly?（不好意思，我面试时有点紧张，您能不能说慢一点）。眼神一定要真诚，获得面试官的好感。

3. 挑战模式（占比20%）

这一类面试中面试官大概会用10分钟和你进行一个较为深入的英文交流。面试官通常会根据你的回答顺藤摸瓜，再问一些新问题，比如小编在面试某通讯公司海外销售岗时，先是被要求介绍自己的专业，我说道专业课程有流体力学、电工学等，接着被问道这些课程中我最喜欢哪门课，然后再问我学习这门课的难点是什么，如何克服的，这一门课我觉得对以后工作是否有帮助等等。

这一类的面试，还是由题库中的问题作为发问起点，不过除了题库外，需要预估自己所给答案中可能带来的衍生问题，作出相应的英语准备。比如准备自己实习经历介绍时，就要同时想到如何说明实习中遇到了什么难题，自己是如何克服的。

划重点：遇到这一类面试，一定是申请的岗位对英文有较高要求，今后的工作中是需要大量使用英文的。所以各位同学在岗位申请的时候要了解好岗位是否对英文有硬性需求，如果是，就要提前至少两周进行相关准备。

以下是为各位准备的题库，按照面试中出现的频率排列，其中使用的词汇都很简单。在英文面试中能用高一的词汇表达，就不要用大一的，这样你自己容易背，面试官也容易听得懂。

It’s really my pleasure to have the opportunity for this interview. My name is XXX and I come from XXX. Now I am working on my Master’s degree on Mechanical Engineering in XXX University. In 2014 I graduated from XXX University and got my bachelor degree on Thermal Dynamic Engineering.

2. Please describe your internship/project experience.

I finished an internship on crankshaft at XXX Technical Centre. The crankshaft is the most important part of automotive engine. During this internship, my duty was to improve its fatigue resistance. Firstly, I completed parametric model for the crankshaft with Catia. With this automotive model, I could simply obtain different sizes of crankshafts. Secondly, I calculated their fatigue safety factors with the software Abaqus, then analyzed the relation between fatigue resistance of crankshaft and its geometric parameters. After that, I could find the best combinations of geometric parameters which contributed to the strongest crankshaft.

3. What difficulties did you meet during the internship？

I met many difficulties in data analysis. The amount of data was very hug. The crankshaft had many geometric parameters such as the length of main journal, the diameter of fillet, the depth of discharge launder and so on. I must analyze the influence of each parameter on fatigue resistance. That was a difficult task. But after a long time of observation, I realized that only a small part of parameters had a strong influence on fatigue resistance. I could focus on studying them and ignore the others. Finally, I found 5 key parameters of crankshaft. By changing them, I successfully improve the resistance of the crankshaft.

4. What’s your quality/merit/strong point/advantage?

My outstanding merit is the adaptability to different conditions. I have rich experience in internships and projects at home and abroad. So I have many chances to communicate with different people from different countries. Every time I enter into a new environment, I force myself to accept new regulations and get along well with new colleges. These experiences help me to develop a strong adaptability.

5. What’s your weakness?

Sometimes I am an impractical person. That’s to say, I wish to reach for what is beyond my grasp, and hope to finish a complex task in a short time. But in fact I can’t do it. I want to correct this shortcoming in future. I must be more practical and consider more details of my task. Before I start my job, I should think what problems I probably meet and how I can overcome them.

6. What’s your most challenging experience?

Frankly speaking, the most challenging experience for me was holding the spring festival celebration in my French university in 2017. The goal of this celebration was to enhance emotional communication with French students and spread our Chinese culture. This was the first time that my Chinese classmates and I had held a celebration in a foreign country. During the preparation of this celebration, we were very pressured. If our celebration couldn’t attract French students, probably, they would think Chinese festival and culture was boring. In any case, we couldn’t let this situation happen. So we paid all attention and energy to preparing this celebration. To make this celebration interesting, I created several games related to Chinese music, Chinese words and Chinese food. And they had successfully enliven the atmosphere.

Finally, our hard work didn’t go to waste. This celebration achieved full success. And this challenging experience left a deep impression on us.

7. Why did you select your major area of study?

I chose this major because I think the industry of automobile has a bright future in China. Nowadays China own the biggest automobile market of the world, and Chinese customers can consume more than 20 million vehicle per year. That’s an amazing amount. What’s more, only a small part of families owe cars. So with the development of economy, the automobile market will increase at a high speed. So this mayor is a reasonable choice for me.

8. What subjects are your favorite?

My favorite subject is CAE design. CAE is short for computer aided engineering. This is a type of advanced technology. With its help, engineers can economize much time and money in the period of mechanical design and calculate the performances of mechanic system by computer. With the development of CAE technology, the simulating result is more and more accurate. Probably, experiment test isn’t necessary in future because we can obtain all data by softwares.

9. Could you describe your family ?

I was born in a family of teachers. My parents are senior teachers with more than 30 years’ teaching experience. My father is the man with a strong sense of humor. He like telling funny stories to my mother and me, and often makes us laugh happily. In my opinion, my mother is the best cook in the world. She is able to make many delicious dishes for us. It’s my honor to have a family like this.

10. Could you describe your hometown ?

I come from XXX, which is composed of three towns, XXX, XXX and XXX. It’s a very big city with more 10 million people. Nowadays this city develops very fast. For example, every year one new subway line will be put into operation. That’s an amazing speed. Besides, Wuhan is also a charming city worth to visit. There are many famous historical and cultural sites in Wuhan, such as Yellow Crane Tour, Guqing Terrace, East Lake and so on.

Of course, Wuhan has its own weakness, the bad weather. In summer, it’s very hot. I can’t live without air-condition. In winter, it’s very cold. I have to put on much clothes. So you’d better visit Wuhan in spring or autumn.

11. Are you satisfied with your college life?

Yes, of course. I have learnt a lot at university, such as specialized knowledge, social knowledge and professional knowledge. During years of university life, I gradually become mature. What’s more, I made many good friends at university. They brought me much happiness when we got together, and gave me much help when I was in trouble. I can’t imagine what life will become without these friends. I should express gratitude to my university life.

12. What’s your career planning?
