Manage the product engineering resource to support the production effectively and timely
Set up the projects to improve the performance of released products to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency
Cooperate with RD to introduce the new products and run mass production smoothly with good quality (1st pass yield)
Description:
To lead the Product Engineering team to achieve the department objectives.
Responsible for analyzing detailed design for manufacturability
Use a range of test projects and methods to help design, manufacture and improve products.
Provide support and help to plan and coordinate for team members.
Determine what went wrong with the failure analysis team. Product engineers may also work in monitoring processes and production data
Fully support manufacturing and other department from product technical side (hardware and software), solve the product performance issues timely and ensure the delivery on schedule
Plan and manager the department resources.
Co-ordinate with the production supervisors to ensure the best utilization of the product engineers’ resource.
To develop the individuals competence, improve the technical and management skill
Deal waste and trash which have major or minor impact on environment in compliance with the proper statute and ordinance for ISO14001 and 9001.
Qualifications:
Education:
University degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e. electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, automation engineering, etc.)
Industry/Functional Knowledge:
Prefer receive proper training on ISO14001 (EMS) and ISO9001 (QMS).
SPC, 6 Sigma, 5S, JIT, lean management experience
Familiarity correlative product knowledge and work
